I used to have this eye twitch really bad. When I changed my job, the twitch went away, so I figured it was stress related. Well I've been getting more stressed lately and the twitch is back. Could it be stress, or could it be something else and just a coincidence about the stressful times?

For the past few weeks, one of my eyes has been twitching (inside, not noticable to others). I thought it was just strained, and have been trying to give it a rest, but It continues.

What causes this, and how do I stop it? Thanks

I was told that the pituitary gland controls a woman's breast size, is this true or false? What else does this gland do? How can I determine if this gland is malfunctioning? My family doctor and gynecologist doesn't know the answers to my questions. If someone out there knows anything about this gland and what it does, would mean the world and all to me!

My father is a recovering alcoholic. He has been sober for three years. When he returned home from treatment, he adjusted well to the changes in his new life being completely sober. However, a few months into his recovery, he began to do things that were completely irrational. Nothing immoral or physically destructive. It's as though his thought process had been damaged. It started out slowly and has progressively gotten worse. His symptoms are similar to those of a child with ADHD. His regular day-to-day decision making is completely irrational. He does not fit the criteria for dimensia. He drank for over 30 yrs. Has anyone ever experienced this with a recovering alcoholic or have any info about it. Could this be damage from the alcoholism, or are these signs of some other type of mental disease. I'm desperate for a method of treatment. If anyone is familiar with this, please help!!!

I have something called nodual amyloidosis which are calcium deposits about the size of quarters in my lungs. Sometimes they rub against blood vessels and the vessels break causing me to cough blood. I just wonder if there are any vessels large enough that could fill my lungs with blood if broken. I've been getting treated for it for about 10 years, but have never thought to ask my docs because it hasn't been a large amount until recently. I'm going to call the Dr. but I thought that someone here might know. Thanks

I am a highschool baseball player and this just started getting bad after my game yesterday, i do throw with my right arm and i was just wondering if this could be a muscle strain or pull or tear or something or if it is a problem with my right lung, i do have asthma by the way. Sometimes it hurts when i breathe but sometimes it doesn't and it hurts the most when i am laying on my back or stomach and i try to move my upper body.

When I was younger I had my premolars extracted for braces. The braces pretty much closed the gaps to the extent you wouldn't know I was missing a tooth there, but in the top right the gap is slightly bigger than in the other places. Food always gets stuck in it and I'm constantly having to floss to get rid of it, which irritates the gum a lot.

If I went to the dentist, what could they do to try to close the gap to stop food getting stuck in it all the time?

said that the sun is dangerous, sometimes causing skin cancer.

So, should fair-skinned people use sun block when sunning?

What amount of time should one sun to receive the proper "input " amount of vitamin D, if one recieves it no other way?

Why do laborers, laboring in the sun every day, (with shirts off) not get melanoma?
