I am a highschool baseball player and this just started getting bad after my game yesterday, i do throw with my right arm and i was just wondering if this could be a muscle strain or pull or tear or something or if it is a problem with my right lung, i do have asthma by the way. Sometimes it hurts when i breathe but sometimes it doesn't and it hurts the most when i am laying on my back or stomach and i try to move my upper body.

I have a baseball game in about 2 hours so I need to figure this out, also if you could give some temporary pain relievers that would help too.

I just had that happen to me.I went to the doctor and it was a muscle strain underneath my shoulder blade in the area of my rotater cuff. They just gave me some ibuprofen and said that my muscle was swollen and that would take care of it.It also caused pain when I would breathe,in my upper back and also my chest. So try the Ibuprofen,it should help you but it could take a few days for the swelling to go down if your muscle is swollen. He also said to take it easy on my arm for a few days.

It could mabe many things even a sprained muscle around the heart., I had this once and it was muscle pull. Thought i was having a heart attach, no just sprained muscles inthe chest wall. If it does not get better each day go to the doctor could be something else

I think you are suffering some muscle catch. Rub the area with your towel after bath. In the mean time, press the soft portion between index finger and thumb at the base and if pain persists, it is sciatica nerve that is troubling you. Remove the pain and when it's gone, you get relief.

You should see the doctor. I had this problem when I had a muscle strain, but it could be something different in your situation. It would be best to hear it from a medical professional. I hope you get to feeling better soon though. :)
