You should never drink pop. But if you must, just don't drink it with meals, it inhibits the absorption of nutrients, and brush your teeth after or chase it with some water because each time you drink pop in it, the acid attacks your teeth for a whole hour. Diet pop doesn't help this. It's the phosphoric acid that does the damage and all soda has it! If I were you, I'd switch to iced tea, lemonade, fruit juice, gaterade or kool aid. Even other sugary beverages aren't as bad for your teeth as soda is.
It is also very high in sodium, which causes high blood pressure, water retention and makes you thirstier. Pop makes you crave more pop because of this and the caffeine in it. But you'd still be better off drinking coffee!
My daughter has informed me that it lowers sperm count, but I think that's just a story the High School boys make up to make the girls think they're not going to get them pregnant.

You're an adult - it's your decision.
If you're asking "how much can I have before I will get fat" or how much can I have before it will rot my teeth out" or "how much can I have before I get heart palpitations due to all the caffiene" then that's a different question altogether.
Soda is terrible for you. It's all bad stuff and zero good. The trick is moderation. See if you can cut your consumption in half. Get it to the point where you can have the minimum each day (or week) without going crazy.

drinking soda on a daily basis is one the most unhealthy things you can do . if you don't like water drink sugar free koolaid , gatorade or any juice . if they banned soda in america in 10 years the obesity problem would go away for the most part
