87-year old, legally blind mother can't see to read results of her daily in-home blood tests. There must be numerous blind people with diabetis. How do they read/determine results of their daily blood sugar tests?

K so your about the age of 18 and you have no had sex, but you have givin and recieved oral but stopped it at that. Some people feel the need to say that i'm no longer a virgin because i have had oral sex but refraned from sexual intercourse through many releationships because i don't feel i'm ready and waiting for the right guy.

Do you think it's right for people to say i'm no longer a virgin because of oral sex?

I'm so terrified of flying but I love travelling to different countries. Like I'll have panic attacks just thinking about the door of the plane closing, trapping me inside this metal contraption that's flying 30,000ft in the air, leaving me powerless to escape....Am I just crazy...or can u relate to me?

o.k., so i went 2 the docter's 2day, and he didn't even have 2 give me a throat culture 2 find out if i had strep throat because the 2 walls in my throat were almost touching. anyway, it is extremely painful to swallow, even spit. i couldn't eat a frostie from wendy's, and applesauce burns. water is just as bad. i'm not sure if i can eat anything without feeling like i'm swallowing knives, but any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I'm really confused. Hear my dilemma: I went away recently to the island of Tobago in the Caribbean with my mom and I had a really great time. But sometimes, I just felt so alone. I can only describe it as this internal sadness that doesn't make me cry, but longs to be at home in a familiar environment.....yet I didn't want to leave the fun that I was having.

Both of my ear-peircings are infected. I got them peirced over Christmas break, so I haven't had them for a while. This is the first time they've gotten infected, and this is what I am currently doing:
Holding isopropal alchohol-soaked cotton balls against them.
Is this right? Or will it just irritate them further.
It really really stings. :(

I have recently heard good things about a blood spot amino acid test that tests for your deficiancies and based on the outcome you can get supplements you need. My naturopath suggested an amino acid test based on saliva and I want to know if one is more accurate or better than the other?

-It becomes more painful when I use my hands.
-As the pain gets worse it travels higher, to my arms, then shoulders
-Using a fork or writing with a pen are painful things to do
-I have no weakness or tingling - so it is probably not nerve damage
-It went away for a year, and is just coming back again
