The symptons you're describing i've never heard of as being associated with anxiety and /or stress and I'm inclined to believe side effects of the buspar. If I were you I'd go make an appt. with my family doctor right away for am concerned at the pain you're having . The usual symptons of stress/anxiety are difficulty either falling or staying asleep, diarrea-spastic colon which is due to stress, feeling tense jittery, feeling overwhelmed, scared, panicky trouble concentrating and staying focused, being irritable low energy or hyperactive, always worried but not always having a reason and so on. I've never heard of buspar so can't say anything about it but if your muscle and abdomen pain started after you began taking it then there may be an association. A whie back I was under stress by circumstances not of my doing and began having panic attacks and went to the Health food store was recommended Super Rhodiola and alsmost immediately felt much better. There are no harmful side effects. If I take during the day usually in the morning with water I feel energized and good(alls well) but if I wake up way too early or can't fall asleep(stress) it relaxes to where I sleep just fine and no groggy effects in the morning. You can look it up online undr Rhodiola and get all the info you need. I strongly recommend that you go see a doctor to see what' causing your muscle and abdomen pain-not normal to have pain and requires medical attention.

These symptoms can manifest themselves in all kinds of ways depending on the individual. Mostly it would be in the chest area for most people like shortness of breath, a sinking feeling in the chest, lump in the throat and difficulty swallowing. You really need to get to the cause of the stress and remove it or modify it so that it is manageable. You may need help from a professional. Jules, Australia.

I feel most stress in my shoulders and neck. It just feels like the muscles there are under tension, kind of pulling themselves tight. Truth is that is exactly what is happening. Many people feel stress in the stomach area. Either as a tightening of the muscles in the abdomen or as upset stomach, like butterfly's.

Anxiety and stress can make you feel like you are having a heart attack. You can't swallow, feel like you can't breathe, have chest pains that runs down your arms. It's not fun, so whoever is having this problem should see a doctor right away.
