It probably IS nerve damage or nerve pinching of some kind. The fact that the pain travels up your arms reveals that. I'm no doctor but my father is a chiropractor (some don't believe in chiropractors, I know). We have patients with pinched nerves all the time, though it is almost always starting in their low back and going down to the legs. Starting in the hands IS odd, but it sounds a lot like the cases we have. We have had a few cases similiar to this one, but chiropractic cannot do a whole lot for it. Ultrasound is our main therapy with some adjustments the Chiropractor does.

More information is obviously required, as I have no idea your age or if you have even seen a doctor about this (I would assume you have, but if you have not, GO SEE ONE!), and the fact that I am NOT a doctor. Also, you say no weakness or tingling, but how about numbness?

Whatever it turns out to be, I hope you find an answer and a solution!

Imagine for a moment your arthritis completely vanishing right now.

If, in a moment, your pain and stiffness melted away. And your joints all of a sudden functioned like a well-oiled machine.

Like a magic wand was waived, you'd be able to jump up from your chair and run around the room like a kid.

And imagine that you'd never have to suffer as much as a pinch of arthritis stiffness or pain ever again.

I know this sounds impossible right now, but bear with me, because sometimes miracles happen.

It was a gift from a woman on the other side of the world. From the kindness of her heart, she took pity on my suffering and taught me how to completely reverse my arthritis.

Today, I want to do the same for you!

first of all to answer this question it is important to know if you have morning stifness more than 1 hour or not .if you have morning stifness more than 1 hour it is a sign of inflammation and arthritis.if your pain has become gradually worse during years and you dont have swelling, redness, warmth it may be mecanical pain due to overuse and osteoartheritis that the first choice for its treatment is acetaminophen.if redness, warmth and swelling are present it is probably an inflammation (arthritis) and the first choice for treatment is anti inflammatory drugs.but if you have signs of inflammation it is better to see a physician to take drugs that inhibit destruction of joints because anti inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen dont do that.

Neuropathy is really a uncomfortable infection but with the book of Dr. Randall Labrum, Neuropathy Solution, a book that you will find here https://tr.im/IZ3sK you can eliminate thermosetting suffering that this infection trigger it.
If you follow all the therapy answers shown in Neuropathy Solution guide properly your head will discharge endorphins, or “happy chemicals”, and these can help you counteract suffering and relieve stress.
The Neuropathy Solution does not have a lot of principle, just useful guidance that you can set to function immediately.

I think you need a Doctor, especially if you have had this for over a year. Jules, Australia.
