Apparently my nickname "leatherman" reminds people of some kind of sex freak who covers himself in leather. That is what my family told me.So I need a new nickname that promotes the fact that I sell leather for making jackets , purses and crafts.please help.

I started collecting porcelain dolls when I was a girl. I recently took them out of storage and some of them are having a bad hair day. Is there anyway I can fix their hair? Is there anyway I can prevent this from happening with my newer dolls?

I want to take up the hobby of latex mask making, however this is the only kit I have found and it kind of looks outrageously priced. What do you think? Is there a website where I can get it cheaper? Any of the help you can give will be appreciated.

If I have order forms and want to put my information on it, is there something that works through three or four layers of carbon paper? I rather do something easy then write on each sheet.

I've gotten great ideas for our outfits from the Halloween section but I figured someone in this catagory might understand how to help create it more.We need to be able to create a realistic looking Prince Charming costume for two boys.We were thinking along these lines:

...instead of the "Knight in Tights" look. lol (both them AND their fathers have told us no to that in advance!lol)We want them to look like something right out of a fairy tale (EX: something that has this feel with the Disney Prince's look http://www.oypoysp.com/gallery2/albums/costumes/Into%20the%20Woods/normal_Cinderella%20and%20Prince.jpg)My friend and I are going to use prom dresses that we find but neither of us know how to make the boy's shirt look right. Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm new to candle making and I can't find a website that will answer the questions I need answered, so please help me.

1. About how many pounds of wax is there in an 8oz jar candle.

2. How many ounces of a scent should I use per pound? (Strong Scent)

3. How much dye should I use per pound? (Typically speaking, how much is not enough and how much is too much?)

4. How many pounds (1/4 pound 1/2 pound etc) should I use in a 1 oz tart mold?

Thank you so much, please no websites, I want your opinions.

One of my hobbies is building scale models from scratch, and I intend next to build a scale model of a caravel, a rather popular ship during the late Middle Ages, with a cutaway of the hull. However, before I do this, I require some information about the layout of a caravel. Anyone know where I might find a diagram of such a ship? I'd perfer, if possible, a sort of blueprint, with each deck displayed from above. The more detail, the better. Also (to satisfy my own personal curiousity,) how many people would be required to pilot such a vessel, and how long would it be capable of staying at sea?

Alot of you probably have no idea what I'm talking about, but I collect Breyer model horses and have recently gotten into showing them, which is setting them up in little scenes, trying to make it look real, and taking pictures of it. I've got a talent for it but was wondering if anyone out there has any tips for me? Maybe on what works for good backrounds, most realistic-looking dolls, things I could use to make a fence, artificial dirt, artificial snow, grass, ect..Got any suggestions? Good craft stores? Anything helps, really.

Are the 1776-1796 bicentiniel quarters with the drummer on the back worth more than 25 cents? Are $2 bills worth anything more? Are wheat leaf pennies dated 1945 or 1956 worth anything? What if anything is worth money that is still plentiful in circulation? What shoulg i keep an eye out for? Just curious.

I need these for a reading program (preferably in blue but at this point I'll take whatever I can get!) and cannot seem to locate them already precut and ready to use. I would rather not have to make these as I need a very large number. I have looked at almost every store (online and off) and cannot find them. Any help you could give me would be great!

I am a fan of building ocean liner models and have every ship immaginable except the TSS Normandie. The Normandie was a French ocean liner built in the thirties as a rival to Cunard's Queen Mary and Elizabeth. As hard as I try, I can never find an unassembled kit. Does anyone know were I can get one?

A previous answerer has said that it's a metal and not a coin. I'm starting to believe that's true, but if not could someone please tell me otherwise. And if it is in fact a metal, could someone tell me if it's worth anything.

Thanks,

I need some blank tote bags for a project. I checked the Michael's website and they didn't have any blank tote bags for sale.

Would they have it in their store?

I want to do some Oriental Trading crafts with younger children. I'm looking for some way to do the glue so that they don't use too much, and the project doesn't just become a gluey mess.

Hello hello :)

Since I was in high school, I made my own clothings (from a t-shirts, jeans, bags, to dresses) using a really simple handheld sewing machine with no special options. It's really hard especially because it takes forever! :-(

I'm planning on getting a sewing machine - which I have NO KNOWLEDGE of.

I heard SINGER or BROTHER are good... but there were so many options from quickstitch to 100-stitch, manual to automatic, electronic to computerized..etc. not to mention these patterns of zigzag, straight, shaped..etc.

My head hurts so much. :(

The cheapest one I found though, however, was the SewPro QuikStitch Sewing Machine (SP-402). Is this good enough?

I'd like a simple and affordable sewing machine that I could quickly learn (to do almost all the basic-moderate sewing... making clothes and accessories!)

Please help meee!! Thank you :-)

I am holding a summer horse camp at my house for my Senior Project and I need one more fun activity to do for a day. The girls are learning about safety that day and it will be the first day of camp. I need one unmounted game/craft to do with the girls. They are about 9-13. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
