Apparently my nickname "leatherman" reminds people of some kind of sex freak who covers himself in leather.That is what my family told me.So I need a new nickname that promotes the fact that I sell leather for making jackets , purses and crafts.please help.

If it helps, the first thing I thought of was the pocket multi tool, not the BDSM crowd, although now that I think of it, I knew this girl once who covered a Leatherman convention for a newspaper....
Since the nickname is relating to the fact that you sell leather, how about something like "Rawhide" or "Tanner" ?

but , it works.and,
i think you should keep it.
it's simple and to the point , and if ppl find it familiar(however they may find it familiar;) they are more likely to remember it,lateron down the road.
