I thought the shirts I was buying were 100%, but they aren't. These are for my daughter's craft show and we are under a deadline and haven't dyed before. (Go Mom! yikes!) We have good dye, and the guy at the shop where i bought the shirts said it would be fine. (they screen-print there but don't dye.) Is he right? Thanks a bunch. I'm an hour away from doing this. :)

~ Just curious- I need opinions on if I could actually make some money at this, like is there a real demand for these? I'm thinking of online and possibly at a flea market. I've got a full time job- its just not enough. I can make the fancy, pretty ones out of embroidery floss. Also key chains, clip-on hair wraps (I can make the real ones too, that don’t clip on as well- @ flea market or maybe by appointment?), purse zipper pulls, cat/dog collars, etc. I'm thinking on charging like 2-3 bucks for the nice tie on bracelets, 5-10 for the fancy, more intricate bracelets w/ clasps, but haven’t really set that part up just yet. Would you buy one? Any opinions help! ~

I live in the UK near London but closer to Croydon (if any1 knows where that is). I recently got into this modelling thing and now I want to create some terrain. They say at the shop and the website that you should use foam or high densty polystyrene. If any1 knows where 2 get it pls tell me. And if u don't know pls don't waste ur answer.

I have a katana with cotton wrapping on the sword handle. Underneath this cotton cloth is ray skin and it is white. The cloth wrapping on the handle is brown and would really like to dye that to navy blue. I wish i could get the cloth off of the handle, but i cant without risking making the cloth wrap loose. can you give me any ideas on how to dye it without having to take the cloth off? thanks.

My tent has a small whole in it at the bottom, the part that seperates what's inside the tent from the ground. when i bought the tent they gave me extra materials so i could fix any wholes or rips, so that's cool. I was just wondering if i iron on a small piece of the extra material over the hole or do i stitch it on? thanks for any help!

It is a combination of letters and a basket of fruits. I decided to use 2 strands for the letters and 4 for the fruits.(I'm using 10 count Aida cloth.) However I made the mistake of using only 2 strands in the leaves and I wonder if I can stitch an additional 2 strands over the ones I already did?

I'm looking for a wrapping paper that is textured and shimmers in the light. Many years back, I bought a roll that was a green/turquoise shimmer but until now, I still can't find a place to buy it. I know it's a common gift wrap for jewelry and wedding gifts.

Could someone help me find a carrier of these papers (gift wrap, not origami)? Preferably an online carrier.

Here's some pictures of the paper in mind (they come in many shades):

(first 4, right half of the paper)

I know that some of these are carriers but I'm looking for a GIFT WRAP ROLL. I intend to use it for a project and need a large, uncut roll. I've purchased one so they should still exist.

Much thanks to all who answer! :)
