I thought the shirts I was buying were 100%, but they aren't. These are for my daughter's craft show and we are under a deadline and haven't dyed before. (Go Mom! yikes!) We have good dye, and the guy at the shop where i bought the shirts said it would be fine. (they screen-print there but don't dye.) Is he right? Thanks a bunch. I'm an hour away from doing this. :)

Not as good as 100% cotton, but it should be fine.

I hope everything went okay with your tie-dying!! If you had a good dye everything should have worked out great for you!! Also, always make sure any dye sit over night that way any dye should set up okay for you!!! I just love tie-dying!! anything white at my house is not safe around me!!!

i hav ethe same question. how did they turn out? what type of Dye did you use. I need to tie--dye some hooded Sweatshirts.

the only thing you could try to do is dye it with watered down bleach but you would probably end up ripping the shirt

you sure can use it. just make sure you wash before wearing. if she sweats she will turn out all the colors of the rainbow lol
