If you have the choice of getting a taylor 210 with laminate sides as compared to another company like Alvarez or Martin that is all wood which would you choose. I know that all wood ages with time and gives it a more mello tone but is it the same for laminate. Also does laminate have the same sound as wood? Or should I say why would anyone buy a guitar with laminate instead of all wood construction. I'm going to buy one but I don't know if I want to spend 700 dollars on a guitar that is not all wood.

I have a 1906 dime I thought was a mercury but the profile is facing the opposite direction. It is silver I think and it clearly says one dime on the back and United tates of America on the front with the date of 1906. Thanks very much for any info at all :)

I have a lot of jewelry projects that require glue, but I can't keep using dried up superglue that cracks soon after it dries.. Is there any suggestion of a glue that's inexpensive, easy to find, and has a good 'hold' to it? I need a multipurpose glue that holds fast to light metals, beads, clasps, wire, ect.

My mom has always wanted to start canning and just is always too busy helping others out to have some time to herself so I thought it would be a good idea if I went out and bought her the canning jars so she has a good enough reason to start and to do something she has wanted to do. I know it's nothing huge but still.

Anyone know what stores sell canning jars?

I have a little baby niece who just entered the world. I would like to make a quilt for her, but I would like it to be "princessy." I want it to include her name, Katerina. I want it to be special and unique. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas or thoughts on what to do.

The upper thread seems to be getting caught on the bobbin case. I've adjusted the upper tension, the bobbin tension. I rethreaded the bobbin and the needle countless times according to the user manual. Still, I can't seem to get more than a few stitches before the machine jams. When I pull the fabric away, the top stitches look perfect, but under the fabric, there are several long strands of thread that seem to be caught on the bobbin case. Most times, I actually have to remove the bobbin cradle just to remove the extra thread. I've also tried oiling the machine. What else can I do??? This is my first sewing machine and I was so excited about it, but I'm finding myself incredibly discouraged. Does ANYONE know what I'm doing wrong? Or a tech support number for Singer??

Thanks!

I have one that was purchased back between 1952-1955 ( Not by me). It is a pocket watch. Open face. Gold in color. On the back cover ( which is engraved with a name) 2294-17t 4248479. I am having issues getting a picture but I could probably work something out. It is for sale or trade depending on price.
