I would like to sell off some memorabilia, signed by athletes. I would not like to sell them until I have a certificate of authenticity. Where can I get one? Thanks.

From a reputable collectibles appraiser in your area.

The best, most trustworthy certificates come from people who are independent dealers, not connected to a shop which also sells the merchandise they authenticate, but as that is almost impossible in smaller towns and cities, you may have to settle for one from a local shop owner who is certified by the governing body for their certificate area of expertise.

You will, of course, have to pay for the appraisal.

And there is a difference between an insurance appraisal and an authenticity appraisal, so be sure to ask for the correct one when having this done.
