Size 15 needles are probably too big to use to knit baby hats. They are rather large and would make the knitting very sparse. Almost lace like. Baby hats need to be closely knitted for two reasons. 1) to keep the heat in and 2) to prevent little fingers from getting caught in the holes. Head to a knitting store in your area and ask for assistance. In Canada, IDA pharmacies have preemie knitting patterns available for free. Your local hospital's volunteer program might be able to provide you with a pattern as well.
