Does anyone know where I could find fabrics that either reflect children's book themes or look like books?

I want to find a company that will add the perforations which make stamps look like stamps.

There are places which will make little slits, and there are roller/cutter wheels which do that too, but I want the little round holes that stamps have.

Scissors aren't really an option for bulk quantities.

I would like to find a company that will perforate my printed pages, or a place that will supply the page to my specification, and then I can get it printed after.

I'm making a quilt and am in the process of binding it off. Will back tacking make the quilt secure so the threads won't unravel?

I am knitting a tank top for my niece with Berocco Cotton Tots yarn, which is not what is used in the pattern. I used size 6 needles and got a gauge of too few stitches per inch than what is required. I only have size 5 in circs and the pattern doesn't require circs so I don't want to switch needles. In lieu of changing needles or yarn, is there a way to increase/decrease the number of cast on stitches for the pattern so that it would work out? I know this is a backwards approach but I am not sure if I should add more cast on or omit some. The pattern has a gauge of 20 sts per 4 inches, and I am getting 4 sts per inch, so...too few. THANKS for any help!

I need to know about the poles you ladies use. What's the "regulation" width, height? Does the pole have to be smooth, ribbed, etc? Can it be wider at the top or the bottom, or would that be as heretical as a baseball player using a lead pipe? Thanks in advance, I'd tip you if I could. I guess I can... brush and floss every day.

My sister's friend made her a gorgeous stamped greeting card and all along the stamp lines she did something to make the outline of the stamp on the paper to make it raised, shiny, 3D. I would love to learn this process but haven't found a simple explanation. My sister told me that her friend had to use some type of powder and then had to blow hot air on it with an embossing tool-is this correct? Is it expensive?

I have a collection that was a gift to me. Some of the stamps are stuck together. Block of four to another block of four. It seems that they were stored in a environment with allot of humidity and the sticky side stuck to the face of the second set. All of the stuck stamps have never been used and were placed in a waxed envelope for many years.

I want to seperate them without damage and decreasing the value of this collection.

Also I am open to NOT seperating them if my goals are not met. Any ideas???

Would simple hook and eye clasps ( the small metal ones) work well for a long light weight jacket, or would they come undone easily all the time?

I want to start knitting, because it looks like a really fun hobbie (plus you can make cute stuff with it!), and I'd like something to do with my free time instead of just browse the internet or read. Anyway, can somebody tell me what I'm going to need to buy, and point me to some user-friendly how-to guides (or give me some pointers themselves)?

I want to make T-Shirts at home with designs and messages on them.

Would someone please give me some suggestions on what kind of equipment I would need to do this and what the best methods of making these T-shirts would be.

Additionally any kind of resource (wbsites, book etc.) that I would find helpful would be appreciated.

Thanks

It would be applied on a spray painted metal guitar pedal. Hopefully something that would be resistant to scratches etc. A brand name would be great. Thanks!

I'm in need of a stamped table cloth that's at least 104" in length. I'd prefer the design to be something floral or with birds or butterflies or both. I have searched on Ebay and cannot find anything. I have no found anything online either. I am currently living overseas so I cannot go downtown and pick on up where I am. Just curious to know if anyone knew of a place online I could find one. Thanks!
