I recently purchased 2 large books with many many pages of foreign stamps. The collection was started in 1948!!! I have no idea how much these stamps are worth, and there are too many to look up on the internet. My question is really who do I take these to, to find out what these stamps are worth???

I am having problems sewing stretchy fabric. I'm using jersey knit t-shirt materail and polyester thread. I have a singer model 401a sewing machine from probably 1957. It works WONDERFULLY. However, this is my frist time attempting to sew fabric that is stretchy and it just doesn't seem to be working. The stitching somehow ends up loose and ends up getting jammed in the machine. Are there any special settings that I need the machine to be on or anything like that? The booklet is far gone by now, so I really can't find any help there.

I need the paper to not break easily when folding. I am interesting in making a cd package. Maybe recycle paper or fiber paper cardstock paper. If you have any type of paper ideas or a paper company that sells paper to companies who make cd packaging that would be wonderful! Thanks a lot!

I just had this idea of making a postcard that I could mail. I am not crafsty at all...but I would like to try and make one. I want to make one that I can mail out w/ no problems.

I have never been to Kinkos, do I need to go there? (I have heard of ppl who go and make collages, fliers, etc...maybe I should post a separate question to Kinkos.)

I just saw a similar question that mentioned cardstock...what's that?

Or maybe I should use adobe photoshop or something.

I want IDEAS and then I need INSTRUCTIONS....

I'd make a postcard w/ a pictrue, drawing or painting...maybe photocopies and mail it out to my friend. I want to buy like a postcard you'd buy on vacation.

Puhlease...any ideas that you have? I want something beautiful!

thank you :)

I will be selling custom trendy crochet items, original patterns, supplies, and would like to offer instructional lessons/classes in my area. My name is Aleana (pronounced uh-lee-nuh) and I live in San Antonio, Texas. I want something that appeals to a younger crowd of people and that is flexible so that my business has room to expand to different areas of crafting.
Thanks a bunch!
