My husband is a die hard West Virginia University fan and wants me to make him an afghan with WVU on it....Would appreciate any help or if someone has a patter they would like to share, please let me know.....

Therre are a couple of ways you can do it. You can make the afghan using the afghan stitch, and then cross stitch the logo on top, or using a graph, you can try just using single crochet, and crochet in the logo. I have included a location for downloads of logos etc for WVYU so you can print out on graph paper. Remember to use a graph paper adjusted to the crochet stitch.
there is a pattern for an afghan celebrating dale earnhardt so you can get an idea.

Wow, what a good answer from mliz55!! Can’t improve on that answer. I looked at the logo and she is right. It would be easy to do just the letter on any afghan.
On the WVU site, they also have a download page for wallpaper, etc. in case you want something for the computer
There is a site that would do a pattern for you for $20 but it is just a helmet with the logo. You could do the same yourself like mliz55 told you about. Good Luck! ~-~
