It is from Thailand, the king, Rama IX is on the obverse. The coin is not in the greatest shape and I cannot read it. It maybe a 5,10 or 20 Satang. Thailand has the habit of leaving the same date on a coin, for many years. The date is in Thai-Lao script and is dated by using the Bangkok Era. This dating system started in 1781 AD and is used only in Thailand the modern name for Siam. It may or may not be a 5 Satang.

Mirrorcoin, that's a 5 satang coin from Thailand, dated BE2500(Buddhist Era), the equivalent of AD1957. The reverse has the Crowned Royal Seal of Thailand, and the obverse depicts King Bhumibol(Rama IX), who is currently the world's longest serving monarch. The Standard Catalog of World Coins valued this coin(number y#78, 1-year issue) at $0.10 in EF and $0.25 in UNC.
