I don't think that the second president's coin is out yet or jefferson. They will most likely be released just like the state quarters every few months. The link below will be very helpful because it lists the presidents that are scheduled to be on the dollar coin and what year they will be released, plus additonal info.
The president that will be pictured on the coin must be dead within two years before the program expires in 2016. As you already might know, the president coins are being made in the order they served president. For instance, in order for Ronald Regan to be pictured on the coin, Jimmy Carter must be dead for 2 years before 2016.

Only one so far, but from two mints for general circulation and will be issued in proof as sets. So far there are 300 million Washington dollars out there.
