help the poor?

have you all noticed how on them there home improvment shows its always the rich folks what i think they should do is give that home make over to some poor person fix up some little boys or girls room that would be so much more apprecitive

since the ones that do wealthy homes dont give them the money to do the job, thats why they are overseeing designs for people who can pay for the work, there are a couple of shows that do things for needy people, just keep watching. or better yet, join a crew building a home for habitat for humanity.

You might notice that in most of those home make-over shows, the middle-class people pay for the make-over. I don't really watch those shows, but I doubt they're about the rich.

For the most part, poor people aren't all that appreciative of anything. Give 'em a hand out one day, the next they greet you like a little kid, "What'd ya bring me, what'd ya bring me?" If anything, these shows should be inspiring poor people to climb the ladder, so they too can have nicer things. It's hard to appreciate something if you don't have to earn it.

You are absolutely correct. I was watching kitchen make overs with chefs from food network and I think a lot had to do with the video that was submitted. There should be a show about how someone poor had something nice happen to their home.

There is a show where they do that. I was at my parents house one evening and they were watching it. Don't remember the name, but it was on a broadcast channel (I think ABC) and I believe it was on the weekend.
Also see Habitat for Humanity--it's an organization that helps provide homes for low income families in need.

I agree with you totally. I think that it would be great if there was a show were they fix up houses for poor people who have children or just build them new houses if theirs is to bad to fix.
