I feel like I need to DO something, and stick with it. The people i know have been passionate about their activities since they were born, but i haven't had that. Any Ideas? and any ideas on how to start?
I'd like to get involved in dance or a sport but people my age who are into that are so GOOD at this point, I would be veryy behind.

i used to be that girl until i remembered what i liked doing as a little girl. playing the piano. u could play an instrument or play a sport were u feel really comfortable (try swimming) it helps too. just do what you love. u could never be behind, don't pay attention to that becuase you might become self-concious. i bet ur smart so don't worry.

I would say Quilting!! Because it is awesomely creative. But it sounds like you want something more people oriented. I would recommend trying a few things.. maybe take lessons or classes and see which really excites you! Most of us are excited about what we do best. Who knows what you might be good at! Some ideas are...

running.. (I know people who are fanatical about marathons and such)
Tennis.. (you could get lessons or learn with a friend)
Dog training and showing (for the more independent type/ animal lover) Dog shows are fun! You can be silly and dorky and nobody will know!
Hiking (commune with nature)
Photography! (Fun and creative.. take a class or just get out there and try it)
Sewing (Quilting is awesome... cheap to start out with and you can choose the size of your projects based on the time you have. For those who don't like traditional- there is art quilting and for those in a hurry, machines do the work in no time!)

These are just a few ideas. Good luck with this... I have the opposite problem... too many hobbies. so many I can't concentrate on one!
