Antique Upright Piano?

well once again I am asking about an upright piano.The piano was once black but it was stained brown.The piano was made by James M. Starr and company.Today i found numbers inside of the piano (What do they mean) the numbers are 10836. can anyone estimate how old it is. the James M. Starr Company was started in around the year 1893.How old do you think the piano is ? Also what do the numbers stand for

All these pianos were numbered. I don't know why. They are old.
