How Do You Make Homemade T-Shirts?

Question

I want to make T-Shirts at home with designs and messages on them.

Would someone please give me some suggestions on what kind of equipment I would need to do this and what the best methods of making these T-shirts would be.

Additionally any kind of resource (wbsites, book etc.) that I would find helpful would be appreciated.

Do you want to make the T-shirts, or just print them? There are patterns for t-shirts in the fabric store, but you're not allowed to sell what you make from those, so you can design your own t-shirt and then make them using jersey from wholesalers. You can google for wholesalers or mill end stores. Sometimes you can find a large quantity of jersey on Ebay for a reasonable price.

If you want to buy t-shirts, I recommend http://dharmatrading.com they can also sell you fixatives if you plan to dye your shirts.
