Do you remember back in the 90s,80s,70s or whatever decade you wish to remember, wanting something because it was "cool." For example in the 90s, everyone wanted a scooter or roller blades. Earlier this century, everyone wanted the livestrong bracelets. And now its i-pods it seems. Our past has shown that these things are not important.

I've recently discovered that I have no glue that is in working order. I did find a tube of green sparkly stuff with a label that reads "Glitter Glue". I am working on a very important project, should I use this "Glitter Glue" or wait until tomorrow when I can purchase a new gluestick?

Anything! the more creative the better!!! I saw something once where this chick on some arts and crafts show pasted playbills on a vase and then put arcylic or something over it to make it look nice and shiny and stay in place.... something like that. And the less money that I'd have to spend even better!!!

And for those that have them, how long should they last on a typical sedan or compact car? Also, do they start slipping like the other belts when they're about to go bad or do they just one day go out and lock your engine up?

FYI one of my cars is a 2001 Hyundai Elantra and the other is a 2006 Kia Spectra 5. The Elantra has a few belts slipping which got me worrying about the timing belt. I'm not worried about the Kia, I know I've got plenty of time before worrying about it.

Here's the problem: I can only do a chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet (DC). My seashell stitch isn't that bad either. But I would prefer to just DC the whole thing.

By "cape" I mean the kind a wizard would wear (hence my screen name LOL). The bottom needs to be wider than the top and I will need some kind of clasp or tie strings on top. A hood would be nice, if it can even be done with my repertoire of 4 whole stitches. So without using a pattern, and just counting the rows very very carefully, what's the best way to do this? It will be all the same color.

Thanks to my fellow crocheters!

I'm new to this whole knitting thing, just knitted a stripped scarf using two different color yarns. One side of it however is not a solid color to the other, it has a small stripe of the new color in the old before it drops off ... how can I make sure this does not happen?

Thanks!
