I have found some but I need to have a credit card to order them. I need some that I can pay for with a money order. And by short, I'm talking about 8 inches.

I am talking about knitting needles and I have yet to be able to go to my local craft store.

If you need a credit card to buy them, visa has a "gift card" that you can purchase like the ones you get at the store. Ask about it at your bank. The local bank near me has them...

Well, I've never seen anything shorter than sixteen inch ones, even on the internet.
If, of course, you do mean knitting needles? That one person asking if you meant upholstery needles confused me.

I'd suggest just getting a set of double-pointed needles. Unless you've tried them and just don't like them. But I do find it a lot easier to work on dpns than on circulars. That preference tends to be really subjective, though.

If you are talking upholstery needles(the only kind I have seen like you describe) you can usually find them at a hobby store like AC Moore, JoAnn's, Michael's, or a fabric store. If those are't the kind you are looking for, then you can usually find whatever you want on eBay and usually a seller that will take a MO too. Good Luck

Yea, 'Anjela' is right...Ive only seen 16" in the circular needle ...if you need as small as 8" just get the double pointed...they are far easier to find as well!

Try your local fabric or upholstery store. You should be able to pay cash there.
