I haven't sewn since middle school home-ec class, and that was nearly 11 years ago. I am looking for a machine that is easy to use, and fairly decent quality.
Thanks!

So I was given this coin and I was wondering what it is. I have never seen anything like it before. It is almost exactly the same size as an american dime. Anyone have any idea what it is?

this is my first project, i'm making this blouse:
http://www.newlookpatterns.com/index.cfm?page=search.cfm&numMatch=2&design_id=13968&design=6620&thumbnail_image=6620t.jpg&ldesc=Misses%20Knit%20Tunic%20Tops&size_range=10%20to%2022

do i just cut on the lines on the pattern and the seam allowance is already factored in... or do i go OUTSIDE the pattern and draw in a new line for the seam allowance??
thanks!!

It is some years since I completed this pattern, could well be 30 years old. I think it measured around 36" in diameter. I would know the pattern if I saw the cover.
