Technically, 1 cent. But often you go into coin collecting shops and they will charge usually 2-4 cents per coin. Pennies are generally not worth a lot. However, certain pennies from 1909 are worth a fortune because so few were made. I believe it is the one from the Philadelphia mint.

There were 887,039,100 1941 cents struck. It is far from a scarce date. They usually sell for 2 to 5 cents, unless in mint state. As for the person that was wondering about the 1909 it is from the San Francisco mint and is the 1909-S VDB and in second place among the 1909 Lincoln's is the 1909-S no VDB.

I am sure you will get a lot of answers saying yes 1 cent. But it is true. There are to many of that year in circulation for it to be worth anything, maybe someday! Here in the states they are talking about a shortage of pennies because so many people just throw away their pennies or put them in a jar taking them out of circulation. It is estimated that americans take over a billion pennies out of circulation each year.
