Go with silverpet she is close. With a mintage of 119,001,420 it is not scarce. In grade good it is worth around .65 then goes up to only a $1 in grade very fine. These are close to what a dealer would pay.

1936 nickels are common. Valued less than $1 in very worn state, $2-$3 in nicely worn, up to about $10-$12 in almost uncirculated state.

I have about 40 old indian head nickles from 1929 to 1936. Unfortunately, they arent worth my effort to trade them yet. Give it more time, just just arent unique enough yet.

Cool - set it aside for now... or if you need a few bucks you can sell it to a coin dealer.
Personally I'd keep it - it will only increase in value over time.
