I'm looking for a good recipe for veggie lasagna...you know, with the white sauce and veggies? I can't find one, and neither can my mother.

I've been vegetarian for about 8 months and feeling really tired lately. Could that be related? And if so, what should I take to become less tired. Thanks in advance.

I'm going to a dinner with some vegetarians from work, and for the most part it's all veggie dishes, which is great; however, they're also serving fish and a lot of them seem to tink it's acceptable to eat it.

So I'm wondering, is it standard or at least tolerable to eat fish. Or are they a certain cliqe of vegetarians, or what!

Hi everyone, I have been a veggie pretty much my entire life. I am 29 and as long as I can remember I have hated meat, I hate the taste, the look, the smell, and the texture. As I have gotten older and educated myself, I hate it for other reasons. I love all animals way to much to eat them and factory farming saddens me beyond belief. My husband eats meat and is fine with me being a veggie and he loves the food I cook for him. My doctor told me that being pregnant and being a vegatarian is perfectly healthy as long as I eat properly which has never been as issue with me, and she actually said it is probably more healthy for the baby and myself because I am not ingesting all that fat. My question is how come people are so rude and judgemental on here about being a vegetarian in general but being a pregnant one just makes it worse?

my mom wants cookies for us to eat while we are putting up the tree. I have everything Ill need for yummy vegan cookies except the margarine. It says to use margarine, but all the margarine at the grocery store my mom went to has milk or whey in it. I know for things like eggs there are replacements like cornstarch and water. is there anything like that for margarine/butter?

My sister is a vegetarian which for her means eating more bread and candy, but she always tells me something like the human intestines were not designed for meat, or something like that.

But I just learned that mammals have created a relationship with bacteria that live in all of our guts ,who actually break down the cellulose into glucose (what we use for energy) for us! So if you think the human body was not designed to eat flesh how do you explain this.

I think it is the most powerful, haunting ,thought-provoking song on
the subject by miles. I am vegan thanks to Morrissey ! The day I heard that song was the last day of eating flesh for me.

I've been a vegetarian for over four years now and thought that I'd like to try tofurky next year for Thanksgiving. I'm quite accustomed to substitute meat products so I'm not under any delusions that it tastes just like turkey. But I was wondering if it's really good or just okay. I don't want to spend a lot of money on something that tastes awful.

Hi! My name is Tiffany and i've been thinking about being a vegetarian for quite a while. Before i went to bootcamp i had to lose ten pds in about a month and i pretty much stayed away from meats. I did lose more than ten pds and i felt more healthier but i also ate seafood and fish mixed in with veggies and salads. I also kinda got a bit more inspired to become a veggie and to be more heathier because of the type of people that are around me and some of the music that i listen to. (hint : AFI :)!!!! Anyway, i don't know what is the right stuff and the wrong stuff to eat. So if anyone can help please let me know!!! (im not in the military anymore.)

Gorillas look powerful. I would like to know what is their main source of protein comes from? Since gorillas are vegeterian for the most part, does that mean they have to eat lots of fruits and vegetable to get high amount of protein for their muscules. Bears are very strong animal, but their protein comes from fish and possibly other sources of meat. How can a gorilla be so strong being raised on bananas?

In all the scriptures how do you justify that eating meat is wrong? Is there scriptural bases? Please include Bible reference, Book of Mormon Reference, Doctrine and Covenant reference, or any other scriptural reference.

I am a vegetarian-no meat fish etc., but I do eat diary. I have a problem tho. I am trying to lose weight, but it is really hard for a few reasons. I think I am taking in too much fat, because diary is mainly where I get my protein. I do not control the grocery shopping list, which means 1)if I want special veggie foods (tofu, veggie burger, etc.) I have to buy it myself, 2) I don't always have the veggies and fruit I need in my diet. But at the same time, I cook dinner for the rest of my family, who are not vegetarians. I am getting desperate here!
