I do drink milk but no eggs..I was thinking like a bakery where I could find it. Usually bakeries are not ready to make custom eggless cakes.

blondchick..I know eggs are good for you but I am a vegetarian by religion (hindu) and there was a point when I started feeling sick at the idea of eating eggs. So as much as I love baked stuff, I had to stop eating it. I use egg substitutes when I make cake at home but sometimes I just don't have the time for it.

All right since I don't know where you live that is what you can do:
Go to
www.happycow.net
Find the veggie cafes and healthfood store in your city and I am sure you will find what you are looking for. I always buy vegan stuff myself but I know where to find them. Try wholefoods all healthfood stores
Good Luck

I can't think of any egg substitute that's has no egg product at all. I know Egg Beaters work really well, they're fat and cholesterol free, but they're still egg product. the only thing I know that will work in place of the eggs is applesauce. you can replace the egg with applesauce, it will work, but your brownies won't hold together as well as they would if you were using egg product. but they would still taste very good! look for a a good brownie recipe, or find a brownie mix at the supermarket that suites you, and just make your own! then you can add nuts or anything else you want.
Hope your brownies turn out great! I'd love to try one!!

You stopped eating eggs? you one poor soul for thinking you dont need eggs, why would you do that anyway? You can always find cakes and brownies in Walmart. Go to the mall, they sometimes have little brownies and little cookie cakes for sale. You really need eggs though, they give you so many good vitamins!

You could also do a google search for vegan brownies, vegan cakes, etc. I don't know if you're actually vegan, but these are the types of recipes you will have to search.

Good luck!
