I know how it feels from both sides. I am a vegetarian and everyone I know is not. I will just give you a list of the things I enjoy and you can decide what your friend might like.

- pizza (yes - I like that too!)
- veggie sub
- soup (watch out for animal broth)
- salad (no caesar salad - we don't like the caesar dressing because it contains anchovies)
- raw veg and dip
- fruit
- veggie burgers
- grilled cheese and fries
- cheese and crackers
- nuts
- baked potatoes (this is a really great and simple idea)
- scallopped potatoes
- mashed potatoes
- boiled or fried veggies
- stir-frys (this is another really good idea, just make some rice, and top it with fried veggies)
- veggie hot dog
- oatmeal
- spaghetti (this is a good idea, especially with some garlic bread)
- macaroni and cheese
- fettucine
- pancakes
- french toast
- waffles
- eggs (I don't know if she eats eggs or not, but if she does, she will like an egg salad sandwich, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, omelette, etc.)

Well, this is just a short list off the top of my head. Of course there are a lot of sites online with veggie friendly recipes. It's good that you are supporting your friend's beliefs, because a lot of people go ahead and cook meat without any thoughts for others. Good luck!

There are a lot of frozen entres available from most grocery stores, and most of them are pretty good.

If you're looking more for take-out or a restaurant then often Chinese or Indian restaurants have vegetarian options.

If you enjoy cooking then you could always go for egg plant Parmesan, crepe, or something like burritos or fajitas where you could even have meat on yours if you wanted and either leave it off or substitute on your friends.

Thanks for going to all this trouble to accommodate a vegetarian! We appreciate it!

check out www.ppk.com for tips. The forums are fantastic for advice. Tons of easy recipes, too. Next time, let your friend pick. Meat isn't in everything. Your better than my best friend for even trying. Pasta, salads, Loaded baked potatoes! There is so much she can eat. Get out there and try some stuff!

Try something like spagetti or noodles with tomato sauce (of course not meat sauce) and add some vegetables and mushrooms or something like that. My friend is also a vegetarian and that is what i see him eat sometimes, or like veggie burgers, which are delicious

Eat vegetables and try going to buger king they have veggie bugers there. Mabe go to shoprite and by some veggie food.
Veggie bugers taste like burgars so they dont taste like tofu. Mushroom bugers are good tasting too.

I hope this helps!!!
