I can't make up my mind because I already have a perfectly functional blender. It just looks old and cruddy and when it used to belong to my friend who gave it to me, it was borrowed by her creepy ex boyfriend who used it for bud busting. On the other hand, I just got an expensive new food processor so I don't want to be too greedy about appliances.

I know people who lived on Ramen noodles and another who ate refried beans and rice while in college.

There used to be a neighborhood friend of mine ate only rice and butter. I watched a show where an Irish chef said he had eaten "sugar sandwiches" which is just bread, butter, and sugar. I've done that before.

I have a whole jar of grape jelly, but I do not want to eat bread since it isn't good for my diet. What do you recommend?

Also, I didn't learn how to cook yet so I was hoping for something that is easy to smear on that is easy, tasty, and healthy. Thanks!

I recently got a job at a truck stop that sells fried food, including chicken livers and gizzards. I have accidentally confused the livers and the gizzards and given customers the wrong thing. I'm 33, but I have been a vegetarian since I was about 15. I remember eating fried chicken livers when I was a kid, but that was a long time ago. Am I the only one here who thinks that chicken livers and gizzards look alike?

I was just wondering because I had heard facts that always questioned whether a tomato was a fruit.
Is a tomato really a fruit?

When there are so many wonderful delicious, savory and sweet and juicy substitues for meat, (which is a dead animal...call it what it is the next time you sit down to dinner), and since we can get protien from so many other sources (we need very very little), and since 10 billion, (that's BILLION...NOT MILLION), animals are slaughtered with unbeliveble cruelty...then why do we insist on eating dead animals?
I love the taste of meat, and I was raised on meat 3 times a day! But ever since I opened my eyes, really looked at and heard the truths behind this insane animal agriculture industry, gave up my gluttony and greed and superiority over animals, I immediately stopped wasting my hard earned dollars on this mass murder...this was over 7 years ago. If your precious bowser was considered a delicacy at your dinner table, would you slaughter him yourself? www.christianveg.com

Usually, I just drain the grease off with paper towels, but I've noticed that there is still a lot of grease left over. Can anyone give me good ideas on how to drain the majority of excess grease off of fried foods?

i love to cook, i would say it's my passion. i am constantly searching for authentic and different things to make. i am always trying to improve on what i cook( and my skills) to make it authentic and just right ( for my liking) when i am cooking for other people i become a bit of a perfectionist and even though others may say it's good sometimes if it doesn't turn out how i envisioned it i just cant be happy with it. all my friends and family members tell me im a great cook, but i it's so easy for people to just say that and be nice to my face! i think i am decent but lots of people think they are good at something but they really aren't

my question is, should i go to college and take the culinary arts course? would i benefit from it? i don't know what i would be getting into, is it different taking it as opposed to what people think? any advice from anyone who has taken culinary arts or professional chefs!
