Usually I won't eat anything along with lasagna. It's a bit of a meal in itself and doesn't need anything else. If you do want a healthy side you can make some rustic garlic bread. Just toast slices of a french loaf (or grill or put in an oven for a minute on broil) and when it's done cut a clove of garlic and rub it on. No extra butter, oil, or fat. Just bread and the garlic you rubbed on.
*You can always roast a bulb of garlic too and then squeeze out the garlic and spread it on.

Lasagna is one of the few dishes that doesn't really require side dishes. Maybe steamed broccoli or whole potatoes. Garlic bread is always good.

Tossed salad and garlic bread. I also like broccoli or green beans with my lasagna.

Garlic toast, bread or sticks and maybe a small salad. It's too filling to eat anything else. Personally, even a salad is too much.

No need for a side...Lasagna is heaven in a little square.
My stepmother puts sliced hard boiled eggs in hers....sounds weird but I love it!

I eat salad with lasagna, made with lettuce, cheese, avocado, tomato and dressing. They go really well together.
