How long does opened tartar sauce last in the fridge?

It will last ages, far longer than the best by date, if there is one on the bottle.
It is full of preservatives.

I buy tartar sauce every month so I don't know, for I eat it all up each month.

6 Months if bottled, 7 days if homemade!!!

There should be a "use by" or expiration date on the jar.
