Canned foods never hurt anybody! Yet I hear so many people saying to stay away from canned veggies, canned fruits, etc...

"stay away from anything in a can."

And if your going to try and tell me it has to do with preservatives, or metal or something - i'm not worried about getting cancer in 30 years, i'm worried about eating healthy NOW.

Everyone has me afraid to eat canned peas and canned creamed corn for lunch, or to snack on canned fruit cocktail. But I don't see what could be wrong with it.

If anybody can fill me in on the WHY that would be great!

I have heard of a small glass disc that can be placed in milk while it is boiling, and it acts as a timer because once the pasteurizing temperature is reached the glass will begin clanking around in the pot. What is the name of this disc, and where can I find one?

Yeah, I'm hick from South Alabama-I admit. We grind our own cornmeal (makes the best dressing you ever had), smoke our own sausage twice a year, and make blackberry, strawberry, grape jelly and fig preserves. What do you make yourself that is unique? Maybe I could learn how to do something new?

Ok, so last night I was doing too many things at once, I guess, and before I knew it my house was filled with smoke from some popcorn I was trying to cook in the microwave. Anyways, I raced around my apartment opening all my doors and windows, I turned on my ceiling fans, and I turned on my A/C to get the air circulating. So, after the smoke cleared, which took about an hour. I still smelled burnt popcorn. I lit candles and sprayed air freshner into the air, but with no success. Will the smell eventually go away? I have a cold, so my nose is all stuffed up, but I still smell the burnt popcorn. I went to work today and I think I smell like it now! Also, does anyone know how to get the butter stains out of the microwave? I have used Windex, a Orange-scented degreaser, and Scrubbing Bubbles, bc that was all I had. I am never cooking popcorn again!! Thanks ahead of time and sorry so long!!

MSG is a tenderizer of meat that makes chicken taste so delicious and "healthy"
When this substance goes into your organs, it makes it tender too. No wonder why we are much weaker than our grandparents were when they were our age.
It also makes male have a lower sexual drive, because frozen chicken now days were injected with eastragen for it to grow faster.
