Like even the cheaper 99 cent brands?? Is it 100 percent whole wheat???

It's all about truth in labeling. It can contain wheat in it, however most aren't unless they stipulate 100% whole wheat. Even then they probably have high fructose corn syrup in them, it is very difficult to find breads that don't have that junk.

Whole wheat bread gives you plenty of fiber which is excellent for you. White bread is made with white flour which is not so just right for you. If you happen to really decide on white bread, there are white breads that contain more fiber. The one i admire is surprise whole Grain White bread.

Bread, unless otherwise stated is made from wheat. Whole wheat is a type of flower that contains the bran and germ part of the wheat seed. White wheat flour is the starchy endosperm of the seed minus the other parts mentioned before. Flour will vary by the type of wheat that is ground from/ Hard wheats have more protein, one of which is gluten. Soft wheats have less gluten.

No, they are not. In fact most white bread is not whole wheat. When they say that something is whole wheat it means that the entire grain of wheat is used. White bread usually uses only the starchy part. Whole grain bread is healthier because you get the fiber.

No - you need to read the ingredient label to make sure it says whole wheat or whole grain.
