Unless you're purchasing one of those high sugar/low fruit specialty drinks, pure, unfiltered apple juice is made from apples and nothing else. You can purchase it either filtered, which gives you the clear color you see most often, or unfiltered, which gives you the darker, cloudy color. I prefer unfiltered, over ice, with a cinnamon stick!

Apple juice is produced by the crushing of apples, and then filtered extraction of the clear juice. It is usually then pasteurized.
