I like all three of these staple foods, but I have to say potatoes just shade it if I had to chose one to eat every day. There's more choice of cooking style with the humble potato: fried, whole boiled, boiled and mashed, baked or roasted with a few other variants as well. What would be your choice?

The 3 abhor the taste of are: Grapefruit, Avocado, and Watermelon! Note I also don't care for meat but that's not something I abhor the taste of it's tolerable but I prefer being a vegetarian! Just being curious! I just like to know others likes and dislikes to see if there's others like me!

I understand about the cooking/serving time factor but is there a difference in taste / freshness? I've always wondered.

I usually eat a salad but w/o protein on it, I never get full and am craving carbs when I get home from work. I bought those "lean pockets" and "South Beach Diet pizzas" but I hear they are actually very bad for you. I need something more filling to eat especially when all my co-workers order take out all the time and I'm left with a measly shriveled salad...

I had been looking off and on for "almond oil" for the past few months, whenever I'd go to the grocery store, but I'd never be able to find it. Then, today...when I was at Walmart, I was looking through the different brands and sizes of vanilla extract, when I see "almond extract." Never even knew there was a such thing.

Are almond oil and almond extract the same thing? And if not, could they be used almost interchangeably? Why or why not?
