Hmm.. Let me ask you this, How do you feel hunting down innocent little baby carrots n killing them? lol just kidding, alot of food source choices stem from environmental , financial, tribal( aka family) as well as a multitude of other conditions. I used to eat red meat but have thru education, awareness, personal and ethical beliefs no longer do so..

Actually, most of the time no. But then I used to be a vegetarian. My wife convinced me to go back to the "Dark Side", after a nutritionist friend had us read "Nourishing Traditions", which is a book you'd probably really enjoy if you ignore the parts about meat. But the book does tout meat, at least of the organic kind. So, in the supposed best interest of our children, we switched back and I started eating meat again just to avoid the quandry of cooking seperate meals. But part of the book's deal is that for it's advice to work you need to give up all refined sugars, and bleached wheats, and only eat organic foods. Soon, it became too expensive and we slipped back into all of our old eating habits except the vegetarian one. My wife never did care much for vegetables, so it was easy for her. I have a hard time with chicken, but mostly was just complacent. But yeah, it's disturbing. I have some veg guilt. But it's time for me to go home so I'll stop posting and leave more room for the flood of "Of course not meat is tasty" answers people are no doubt writing.

i dont really like meats i only like chicken and every once and awhile i eat beef. but sometimes i think about the fact that they where once living and i just dont eat it. but on the other hand they are raised to be eatin and if you think bout it they live a much better life than if they where wild. because they get grass, grains, if theyre sick then they get taking care of so yeh im pretty comfortable with eating them. And they help supply some of the proteins and nutrients that we need to stay healthy.

Yes I do. To be honest I never think of them as dead innocent animlas, maybe I should but to be honest I don't. Maybe in my next life I'll come back as a chicken leg and get my just desserts. Sorry no guilt here.

It depends on where I'm eating. If I am eating on the couch watching TV then I'm real comfortable. If I'm eating at the pic-nic table I'm not so comfortable. It just depends on the actual seat itself.

I don't have a problem with most meat that is available in a supermarket. How would my not eating help it out?

I was rasied eating meat, so it really is nothing but normal for me.
God created cattle so we could eat them. No joke!
It's one thing if you don't like the taste of it, but...
One thing I despise, though, is when they sell the chicken or etc. to you while it's still whole!!
