A friend of mine told me not to eat the cheese rind, but after cutting it away, there is hardly any cheese left to eat! Is cheese rind meant to be eaten or was there some good reason for my friend telling me to not eat the rind?

When cows are processed for human consumption how old are they. Intuition tells me that as soon as they reach the mark body weight. What is the age of the cow when this happens. I'm specially wondering about cows that are 30 months or less in age. Is this considered 'special', similar to veal, or is this the kind that is found on the supermarket shelves.

My name is Sidney. When I try to preserve left over food in my refrigerator, it keeps getting bad (sour) with some whitish mold-like stuff sometimes appearing on the food. I have tried to adjust the temperature (going to extremes even) but that does not seem to help.
Please, I really need answers or suggestions.

why after eating garlic a person have a foul the next day. we can eat broccali,cabbage,tomatoes, even onions are not as offensive.
why such offensive odor with garlic?

one of the little boys in my sons first grade class lost his mommy last week, they are asking for meals to be given to the family. I called the lady in charge and she told me to make whatever I thought was good and easy, it will just be the husband, a 6 and a 3 year old. She did say they already had three lasagnas, so I don't want to make that, and I am not a huge cook, I can follow receipes though, so if you could give me ideas, then I could look up the reciepe. My Indian friend, Raj Kumar used to comment on how dirty or clean the rice was wherever he would eat. Do you think cleaning your rice by rinsing it improves it? Raj thought so!
