my friend made a very yummy dish at my house this weekend. it contains cabbage, pork sausage, and egg noodles..it tasted kind of bland, so i added some seasoned bread crumbs, and it made it taste a whole lot better! the problem is, the mixture is kind of dry. what should i use to add flavor and help keep it moist? i've thought about using kielbasa instead of ground sausage, does that sound like it would taste better?

Tomorrow is my Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and I'd like to know what I should eat for breakfast and lunch beforehand to put myself in the best possible scenario for sitting through a 5+ hour exam. I'm vegan so I don't eat any animal products - so if you could recommend some oils, fruits/vegetables, proteins, etc. that'd be great! I'm also open to other tips, I'm sooo nervous!

I read somewhere that storing honey in the fridge completely negates it's medicinal properties and negates all the "good" stuff in it. I always liked cooled honey, but now I might have to change my habits.

I'd like to make a little turkey roll using turkey, cheese, and lettuce, but I don't really have an idea what bread to use. I know you can use pitas or tortillas, but the only tortillas I have are really flour-y. What else can I use to make it taste great, besides regular bread?

I usually put cream and sugar in my coffee but this morning I just drank it without and it tasted the same as it does with sugar and cream but when I drank it without the sugar and cream I noticed it actually gave me energy rather then when I do put cream and sugar it makes me even more blah ... does it really make a difference does putting cream and sugar take away the effect of the caffeine ...

Example. You hate eating raw tomatoes but love salsa? Or hate yogurt but love milk? Well, I, like this about some things and occasionally someone will say, thats crazy, if you like ketchup than you love tomatoes. Not true. It may contain that item but its in a different form and has a different taste. Would you agree?

I'm not exactly lactose intolerant, some days I can drink milk without any problems, but there are days when my stomach can't handle it. I've recently discovered a brand of soy milk that tastes good and doesn't give me the stomach ache I sometimes get after drinking full cream milk. But I'm wondering, will I still be able to get the proper nutrients I need (not to mention sufficient calcium intake) if I replace milk with soy milk?
