Never heard of that, and I don't see the need for storing it in the fridge.

I have never heard of that before but it has been a common practice to store honey in the refrigerator once the seal of the bottle has been opened.
I have a bottle of honey store outside the chiller and i find no change in difference. The only difference I notice is the texture being hard from the chiller and not easy to work with them required to be used.

Pure honey should never be stored in the fridge. If you like cool honey, try the creamed varieties, and keep that in the fridge.

No that's a total myth. The only good honey is the dark brown stuff.. the natural unrefined honey.

someone is pulling your leg. honey does not need refrigeration, but it won't hurt it. for the best "medicinal "qualities, you should eat locally grown-it will help build immunity against "hay fever" and other pollen related ills. plus, who knows what might be added to imported honey=especially the junk from eastern europe and china.
