Not sure of a creole word for hot pepper, per se, but in New Orleans a dish highly seasoned with peppers is generally referred to as "picante", as in sauce picante.

chaud piment... or chaud poivrer... these are the French translations of it. I know that Haitian Creole is based on French language so this is a close approximation of the word. I believe there is also Louisiana Creole but that might be the same.
