I was told today that i have allergies to corn, wheat, soy, egg whites, and nuts. along with the allergies that i already had which were tomatos, onions, peppers, mushrooms and seafood/fish. I am trying to figure out what i can and cannot eat and also which alcohols i can drink. Any help that i can get would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

When I was younger I used to order everything special with no lettuce, pickles, or mustard; things like that. Now that I'm older either one of two things has happened. #1 I have simply stopped caring about whats on it, and just don't notice the taste anymore. Or #2 where I have acquired a taste for such things, where my sandwhiches taste better with lettuce, pickles, and mustard. Which is it? Or is there more options?

I am looking for the name of a common/commercial equivalent of a native bean called Tepary bean, native from southern Arizona. I have tons of them, but as most recipes found in cookbooks and online call for common/commercial beans, I need to find it's equivalent so I can substitute bean type properly. The tepary beans are either white or light brown in color, about 1/4-1/3 inch in lenght, stay pretty much the same size when cooked, are very firm, and very high in protein.
Here's a link to them:

Thanks :)

This may seem silly, but I got one of those Chia herb gardens last Christmas. My husband is good with plants, but 3 out of 4 have died. I still have a little basil plant going.

So if you've ever tried to grow Chia plants, how long do they last? I'd love to have basil by winter.

I grew up in Cadillac and used to swim and play in Lake Cadillac. It was thick with clams but no one ever thought to take them home
for a clam bake like they do on the Atlantic coast. Why?

I've lived on my own pretty much since I was 17 and one thing I've always had trouble with is grocery shopping. I find it very hard to shop for one person, portions are big and if you buy individual servings, they tend to be more expersive in the long run. What should I buy that will get me through the week and also stuff that is healthy.
