Everybody thinks Pizza is from Italy and Burritos are from Mexico. I keep hearing people say there is no truly american food, but they were made here first. What does everbody got to say about that?

I've been to that restaurant... and I can assure you , as many people can, that it's not really mexican food at all... just a cheap copy of some dishes. then why do people assume that's the way mexican food is? lol, maybe that's why many don't like it... taco bell. what do you guys think?

The Scots have haggis, us Norwegians have brown cheese... The natives love it, everyone else either thinks it's nasty as hell or just nothing special. What are the things that people eat/drink and enjoy in your country, but go unappreciated when non-natives try them?

My boyfriend and I have known each other for ten years and have dated for about a month and a half now. We plan on marrying in a year. We have a very open and honest relationship and recently he told me that his ex fiancee informed him that she is pregnant with his child. They weren't goofing around with each other while we were together.

He tells me that he told her he's not just going to drop everything with me for her because he loves me. I wonder if this is all just a stunt, and that she is just trying to get him back. My boyfriend asked me if I would possibly adopt this child. I don't know what we're going to do.
