You do not need to refrigerate after opening. You can usually use it for a month or two.

♡I live in Japan and buy the big bottles of soy sauce too, I use it on a daily basis. I just keep mine in the cupboard along with my vinegar and Worcestershire sauce. So, I would say NO, it doesn't need to be refrigerated after opening. I have never had a problem with it going bad. Although, last time I visited my sis in law in the states, her bottle of soy sauce surprisingly said to refrigerate. I was surprised! So, I would suggest you look at the label of YOUR soy sauce carefully and if it says to refrigerate, do so!... (^_-)-☆ I think it's safe to keep in the cabinet unless the bottle specifically says otherwise. I've been living in Japan for almost 9 years and have never put it in the fridge and it has never gone bad or we have never gotten sick. Hope this helps!♡

no soy sauce doesn't need to be refrigerated after opening. you can keep it in room temperature and it will be fine. you can use it right away after opening the bottle.

No, at least my bottle doesn't say to refrigerate after opening, but it would probably stay good longer if you refrigerate...:) I keep mine in the fridge for that reason.... :)

No refrigeration needed and no expiration date, although after a long period of time it won't be as potent.

No, you don't NEED to store it in the fridge!

You can if you want to, unless you find that salt crystals appear in it, then I'd stop!

It's very salty, so provided you do it up properly it should last until the use-by date - or maybe beyond..!

No, but I go through it pretty fast since I'm a stir-fry freak. Look around at your local Chinese-Japanese restaurant - the stuff stays out all the time and doesn't spoil.
