My friend brought over sushi last night and she brought eel/avocado rolls. The eel was cooked and she said if people ate raw eel that they would die. Can anyone confirm this?

How do the chinese restraunts get their rice sticky. I have tried everyting. My boyfriend wants to try and make his own sushi but we can't get the rice to stick together right. Any advice would be great! Thanks

I'm looking for the name of a vegetable used in chicken dishes. It's white, tastes like onion and has the appearence of small potato cubes. I was told it was some type of Chinese onion. (It's not regular onion, because it can be cut into cubes).
