My father is an Ashkenazi Jew, originally, and my mother is a Sephardic Jew, so I've been blessed with two very different and excellent cuisines.

I am not too much of a fan of most Ashkenazim cooking. But, I do like the food of the Sephardim and Mizrahim Jews, These are the Jews of the Mediterranean and the Mid-east. This is the Greek, Lebanese, Turkish, Yemenite, and Persian foods. This is what I cook.

I have tried it, it's good and hearty. Num! I have tried the traditional dishes such as matzoh ball soup and knishes and the Israeli food such as falafel.
