Chinese-chinese food is characterized by the usual food that is served in Shanghai or Beijing. Which are like, la mien, xiao long bao, jiaozi, congee etc. Indian-chinese food is Hakka and Cantonese dishes which are modified to suit stronger tongues by adding certain Indian spices. How to say which is better? It depends on personal taste I guess. Some people just grew up liking stronger flavors while others prefer their food to be more subtle. It's got to do with culture. I like Singaporean food.

Both Indian and Chinese food are at the same level, except that
they're different in preparation, style and taste.
Indian food uses a lot of spices and curries whereas the Chinese
ones uses stir-fry, steaming, braising and boiling soups.
In fact, I love to eat Indian food a lot whenever I have the chance.
I love the hot curry very much, especially the southern Indian
types.

Well, it can be an "apples" and "oranges" kind of thing. They are very different styles of cooking and very different tastes. Anyone who thinks Chinese cooking is "bland" has only been eating the "common" international restaurant versions of "Cantonese" food and that is no more authentic "Chinese" than "Taco Bell" is authentic "Mexican!" When you try the food from the north and especially from Szechuan, you will find quite enough spice, especially chilies for any taste.
I love both types of food very, very much, but not equally. For me a true northern "Punjabi" style feast including pakora, samosas and papadums to start, then a toor and mansur dahl mix (spicy lentils), a meat curry (Rogan Josh, Moghlai style), Tandoori baked chicken, Seekh Kabab (spicy minced lamb on skewers) Zeera Aloo (cumin potatoes), Matar Ghobi (cauliflower and peas), a pulao-basmati rice side dish, raita (yogurt with cucumber and mint) and at least three breads, chapatis (roti), naan and stuffed parathas. With a lovely Ras Malai (cheese balls in a chilled milk, rosewater and pistachio sauce) for dessert and a Chai (the famous indian tea spiced with masala and prepared with milk and sugar) to finish off.
That would be as close to culinary Paradise as I could ever imagine!

Food is always about preference so "better" would be inappropriate. Chinese is "more popular" internationally than Indian in view of the numbers of restaurants. Chinatowns are common in many major cities in the world as opposed to sizable Indian communities elsewhere.

For an Indian, obviously Indian; because Chinese would be too bland.
For the Chinese, Indian would be too spicy; so, Chinese.
Most westerners would go for Chinese, because it's not as spicy as Indian, though.
