I get absolutely plastered every time I finish off a bottle of Fiji spring water. What do you think is wrong with me?

I'm going on holiday at the end of Jan and need to lose a few pounds so I am on a bit of a diet, but I have a Christmas night out with the girls planned for Saturday. What alcohol can I drink that is nice but low in calories and won't do my diet too much harm???

I have 8+ years of Taste of Home, Country Woman and other magazines that all have recipes. I love cooking magazines, but I don't know what to do with them. I can't seem to bear throwing them out even tho I know the chances of me looking at them again are basically nill. Each magazine has too many recipes to cut them out and then it would just be a pile of recipes. What have others done with their old magazines?

my pound cake doesnt come out quite as dense as i would like. what ingredient to i need to add more/less of? example would more flour make it more dense?

My brother and I loved this product called Ragu Express, pasta with tomato sauce that was cooked in the microwave and perfect for if you were in a hurry. We haven't been able to find anywhere that sells it lately. Does anyone know a place where we could buy some? Or has anyone heard anything about the whereabouts of this product? I'm having two couples (plus myself and my fiance). And I will be serving lobster, steak, garlic potatoes and a salad with strawberries, walnuts and gorganzola cheese, along with homemade bread.

my son goes to visit his father at 4:00 and he usually fails to feed him dinner(he arives home at 8:00 hungry & telling me he didnt eat anything), so its got to be something that will fill him up and that he'll eat.
I'm out of ideas and he never tells me what he wants, just what he doesnt want.

He is three, likes pasta... chicken... certain veggies but is picky, he likes fruit.

I've been invited to what I know will be a kick butt New Years Party. We will not be staying all night (my babies won't last and there's tons of crazies on the road)...BUT I still want to bring a great dish! I was thinking buffalo chicken dip, but my mom is bringing her most excellently hot buffalo wings so I need to think of something else. Any ideas? There will be about 30 of us there...my other thought was sweet/sour meatballs (bag premade meatballs 1 bottle chili sauce, 1 bottle currant jelly)....other thoughts?

We do not Cook a huge dinner for new year's eve, we just make a large appetizer's table that stays put and refilled for the whole night.. I am in charge this year for the majority of it, any fresh ideas for appetizers? if possible include recipes as well or maybe website!
