Anyone know how to calculate how many wine and beer glasses I will need to rent for 160 drinking adults.

Well

You probably will want 300 or so wine glasses since you will probably have them sitting on the table (even if they are not wine drinkers). This will be enough if you have people cleaning glasses throughout the reception.

200 or so beer glasses should be sufficient if you are serving alcohol too (even if it's a cash bar). 300 if there is no alcohol. Same cleaning issues as with the wine.

I'm sure the rental place has a rule of thumb they use. If the glasses will be set at the table settings, you will need less than if they are stashed at a bar, w/ people coming back for more, wantint a new glass if they switch wines or drink wine then a beer.

Hi Rob A, I would sugest that where you are going to buy your wine and beet from would be only too glad to help you. They may even be able to supply the glasses for you or know where you can get them cheaply - It worked for me. I hoppe this helps. All the best. Rab( Scottish for Rob)B

you best bet is to get all of that included with the place you are getting married at or the catering company that will serve the food because some will get broken and some will get stolen so don't rent them let someone else be responsible for them
